Job Description

We are currently looking for Software Development Engineer who is passionate about software and hardware integration and want to work on products embracing AI technologies, future enterprise NAND SSD and storage solutions.

As a Software Engineer, you will have an opportunity to:

• Define and specify product requirements
• Design and implement software solutions based on AI technologies
• Design and implement software for NAND based technologies and storage solutions including SSD devices.
• Develop Software to enable Storage related technologies
• Be involved in debug and integration of Software and Firmware
• Gain experience on software, AI and storage technologies which will be released to the market in few years, such as NAND SSDs, NVMe, Storage Caching, RAID
• Work on early phases of design and implementation of next Solidigm product generations building modern AI and storage solutions which will be released in few years
• Work with highly motivated individuals across all GEOs which are best professionals in their field

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as C, C++, Python, or similar.
• Practical knowledge of concepts in the following areas: debugging, coding techniques, object-oriented programming, drivers, remote debugging,
• Knowledge of software validation concepts: unit / functional/ integration / exploratory / performance / scalability tests,
• Methodical problem-solving skills,
• Fluency in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of software development/debug experience,
• Experience in Linux OS driver development,
• Experience in application development for Linux OS environment,
• Experience with AI and machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, ONNX)
• Experience with optimizing ML inference runtimes,
• Experience with ML model training,
• Experience in storage technologies, especially OS software storage stack and file systems,
• Experience in distributed and parallel programming,
• Experience in Windows OS Driver Development is a plus,
• Experience in Windows OS User Interface Application Development is a plus
