Data Scientist

Design and develop new methodologies, quantitative models, analysis, and commentary (as relevant) that enhance existing or new processes. Maintain existing product performance and independent analysis standards. Internally, work with various groups to grow new insights and expand the scope of existing products.

• Job Description
• Data handling, data processing and programming and support delivery of new or enhanced capabilities by defining requirements and/or leading projects
• Translate business needs into solution requirements. Write functional and non-functional specifications and propose and implement improvements to products and processes
• Develop automated solutions for sourcing/loading fundamentals data into database and analyze Legal entity content to establish patterns/trends
• Build extraction solutions based on different document formats and develop, improve, and run quantitative models
• Generate solutions through machine learning for core processes and work with business, content, and product groups for large-scale analytics problems
• Build POCs, visualizations and pipeline tools for product design and development and work with development groups for deployment of analytics solutions
• Be compatible with other internal teams as needed, with supervision and maintain process documentation including testing and validation of tools and processes

Knowledge & Skill:

• Extensive experience in using Python including AI / ML Technology implementation
• Experience in crafting, developing, and deploying statistical models based on machine learning and deep learning algorithms.
• Having understanding of statistical concepts and Proficient in using tools and libraries such as Scikit-learn, NumPy, Pandas
• Proficient with anyone of the deep learning frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc and also understanding of HTML, CSS and Web scraping with strong problem-solving competence
• Grasp of relational database and SQL skills API architecture and containers (Kubernetes or Docker).
• Ability to handle large quantities of data with strong written, communication and presentation skills Able to respond and present work to peers, senior management, and other team members
• Bachelors/Masters experience in Engineering or Higher education in  Statistics, Mathematics  or related quantitative team with Data science certification

Desired Skills:

• 5+ years of Data Science project experience in Finance domain
