Job Description:

GDIT has an opportunity for a Data Scientist Advisor to support a new and exciting federal program that consolidates enterprise-wide applications and platform services. This program will support the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) Application Division transformation into the Application and Platform Service (APS) Line with agile based service delivery and IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) based service management practices. 

HOW A DATA SCIENTIST ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT: 

  • Provides extensive technical knowledge and analysis of highly specialized applications and operational environments, high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, training, and implementation advice on complex problems that require multidisciplinary knowledge of multiple subject matter areas (e.g., business, project management, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or the various sciences) for effective implementation 
  • Participates as needed in all phases of projects and programs with emphasis on the planning, analysis, testing, integration, documentation, and presentation phases 
  • Provides analysis of laws, policies, and regulation germane to the task supported

The likely salary range for this position is $106,371 - $143,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
