Welche Aufgaben erwarten dich?

• Als Team Lead (m/w/d) leitest und verantwortest du dein Team sowohl personell, inhaltlich als auch finanziell nach betriebswirtschaftlichen Gesichtspunkten.

• Dies beinhaltet die disziplinarische Verantwortung für die Mitarbeitenden und umfasst darüber hinaus sowohl die fachlich-inhaltliche als auch die finanzielle Planung und Steuerung deiner Organisationseinheit. 

• Als Team Lead bist du erste*r Ansprechpartner*in für deine Mitarbeitenden und damit im Schwerpunkt für die Personalführung sowie für die Steuerung des operativen Geschäfts in den Bereichen Cloud Native, Data und AI Platforms verantwortlich. 

• Darüber hinaus umfasst deine Aufgabe den Auf- und Ausbau von Leistungen innerhalb des Fachgebiets sowie die Entwicklung zusätzlicher, zum Fachgebiet passender Leistungen im Einklang mit der Strategie des zugrundeliegenden Business Streams.

• Du trägst mit deiner Leidenschaft zum Neuaufbau eines Data Management & Platforms Teams bei, indem du: 

• ... mit bereichsübergreifenden, internationalen Partnern, insbesondere dem Chief Data Officer (CDO) der Mercedes Benz Group AG, an einer langfristigen Data Strategy arbeitest und dabei die Umsetzung von strategischen Initiativen, wie den Aufbau von konzernweiten Data Mesh- und Data Plattformen verantwortest.

• ... ein Team formst, welches Technologiebegeisterung in der Domäne Data zeigt und die Brücke zu weiteren Technologien im Umfeld AI-, Cloud- und Software Engineering schlägt. 

• ... dein Team begleitest, empowerst und coachst und dadurch in seinem Anspruch bestmöglich unterstützt. 

• … Mercedes-Benz Tech Innovation in der Mercedes-Benz Group AG in relevanten Gremien und Entscheidungsprozessen repräsentierst und unsere Erfahrung und Perspektive/Sichtweise einbringst. 

• ... innerhalb der Mercedes-Benz AG für Co-Creation und neue Kollaborationsmodelle mit anderen, internationalen Einheiten und Initiativen wirbst und Möglichkeiten der Zusammenarbeit aufzeigst und etablierst.

Wie passt du in unser Team?

• Du hast ein abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Informatik, Wirtschaftsinformatik oder anderen Ingenieursstudiengängen sowie mehrjährige relevante Berufserfahrung in IT-spezifischen Unternehmensrollen.

• Du treibst Themen aktiv voran, möchtest gestalten und verändern und siehst neue Themen und Herausforderungen stets als Chance. 

• Du bist in der Lage wertschätzend und klar zu kommunizieren, kannst Konflikte ansprechen und nachhaltig lösen und lebst Empowerment. 

• Es gelingt dir, unterschiedliche Gruppen- und Stakeholder-Interessen und Prioritäten (z.B. Projekte, Teams, Business Partner*innen, etc.) zu balancieren und Strategien für deinen Bereich nachhaltig zu entwickeln und umzusetzen. 

• Du begeisterst dich für Technologien und möchtest verstehen, wie sich die Domäne Data, gerade aus dem Kontext AI, weiterentwickelt. 

• Du interessierst dich neben Data Engineering u.a. für Team Topologies, Platform Engineering, AI und weitere Patterns im Kontext Software Engineering. 

• Du hast sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift.
