Senior Test Automation Engineer

What will you be doing?

• Providing expertise, setting standards and recommendations on test automation processes
• Designing and building test automation framework
• Integrating the automated tests in Azure DevOps with the code repository.
• Writing and building-up a suite of automated tests in BDD framework to run in multiple test environments.
• Establishing a reporting mechanism to display the results of tests.
• Leading a team of 2 junior test automation engineers.

What we’re looking for:

Ideally:

• Around 3+ years of experience in a similar role
• Skilled with C# or Python programming language, preferably both
• Experience with CI/CD tools preferably Azure DevOps
• Experience with using BDD frameworks such as SpecFlow for C# and/or Behave for Python
• Experience with building a test automation solution from scratch is a big plus.
• Understanding and direct experience with databases, web services, APIs, and cloud computing platforms such as AWS and Azure.
• The individual has an automation mindset, appetite for innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Keen on latest technology such as AI and machine learning
• Self-sufficient and able to cross-skill to different technologies with ease.
• Hybrid skillset of software development and testing is mandatory.
• ISTQB Fundamentals and Test Automation Engineer certification are ideal but not mandatory.
• AWS Cloud Practitioner and Azure Fundamentals certifications are ideal but not mandatory.
