People Services Employee Lifecycle Senior Specialist and Master Data Management & Reporting, Greater China

We are looking for a driven Employee Lifecycle (ELC) Specialist to join our Sanofi People Services team. This is a key role in providing effective support on end-to-end HR Services processes for Employee Life Cycle (Job Change) and Master Data Management & Reporting (MDM&R) for Greater China.

This role reports to the People Services ELC Team Manager - Greater China and he/she may be assigned a specific sub-process. He/She works closely with the HR team, BU heads, BU Admin/secretary, Internal Control, Internal Audit, Security, Legal, IT Services Business Partners, Facilities management, Payroll and Time & Expense BPO partner and People Services front line teams in countries/region.

Job Responsibilities:

Employee Life Cycle (Job Change)

  • Coordinate and manage Job Change activities in Workday and working with the various stakeholders relating to Sanofi within the perimeter of SBO China and deliver the services as per the respective Service Level Agreements.

  • Create/manage Job Change records, complete all required steps, coordinate with the various stakeholders to make an efficient and seamless Job Change experience.

  • Ensure that changes are correctly reflected in all related systems.

  • Manage all documents related to Job Change (preparation, collection, validation, archiving).

  • Monitor data quality and identify potential issues and take pro-active measures.

  • Address operational issues and follow through to resolution in an effective and timely manner.

  • Develop expert level knowledge of the activities in scope as well as local knowledge of entities in scope.

  • Complete all activities as per the Global Core Model.

  • Deliver operational KPIs and comply with Sanofi policies and guidelines.

  • Build, document and transfer EE Core Model process knowledge (Level 6/7) relating to Job Change.

  • Contribute to Level 2 support for this sub-process as per the Customer Service process in Service Now and to the Knowledge Database.

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Master Data Management & Reporting (MDM & Reporting)

  • Maintain Organization, Position, Internal Employee & External Contractor data in Workday relating to specified Sanofi entities within the perimeter of SBO in China and deliver one or more of the following services as per their respective Service Level Agreements.

  • Create/update organization and position data either individually or in mass depending on business needs and ensure proper functioning of related interfaces.

  • Manage employee master data life cycle (create, update, activate, deactivate, delete) as per Core Model process in close coordination with key stakeholders.

  • Prepare periodic reporting, ad-hoc reports and dashboard.

  • Audit employee master data for completeness, quality and up to date status.

  • Monitor data quality and identify potential issues and take pro-active measures.

  • Address operational issues and follow through to resolution in an effective and timely manner.

  • Develop expert level knowledge of the activities in scope as well as local knowledge of entities in scope.

  • Complete all activities as per the Global Core Model.

  • Deliver operational KPIs and comply with Sanofi policies and guidelines.

  • Build, document and transfer EE Core Model process knowledge (Level 6/7) relating to Organization, Position and Employee data management.

  • Contribute to Level 2 support for this sub-process as per the Customer Service process in Service Now and to the Knowledge Database.

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify process improvement opportunities through elimination of redundant activities.

  • Participate in process automation initiatives and ensure seamless adoption and transition.

  • Participate in global projects as required.

About you

Functional

  • Broad understanding of HR process and activities (essential)

  • Strong problem solving, deductive and analytical skills (essential)

  • Awareness of data privacy rules (GDPR etc.) (advantageous)

Technical

  • Computer literate and hands-on experience with HR / Human Capital Management (HCM) related tools & systems such as Workday, ServiceNow, etc (essential)

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office with advance level proficiency in Excel (advantageous)

Interpersonal

  • Ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner (essential)

  • Team player, able to work collaboratively transversally and with HR front line teams with an end-to-end mindset (essential)

  • Good communication skills at all levels, verbal and written (advantageous)

  • Attentive to customer needs and feedback (advantageous)

Leadership

  • Organized and structured to execute tasks as per deadlines (essential)

  • Attentive to detail and works with precision (essential)

  • Set good example for junior team members by demonstrating positive mindset, professional attitude and behaviour (essential)

  • Mentoring junior team members by providing support, guidance, and encouragement (essential)

  • Action oriented, delivery driven, change agent (advantageous)

Background and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s degree with HR, Business Administration or relevant (essential)

  • Fluent in English and Mandarin (speak, read and write) to support Greater China Operation (essential)

  • 2+ years of proven experience in a HR role or a relevant.
