Data Engineer (internship) - GBS Data BackEnd (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

Description: 
In this position you will be working with huge datasets of all aspects related to retail data for one of the biggest companies in the sector. (sales, vouchers, deliveries, orders, stock, etc). With the objective of generating consolidated data objects that can be later used by our analytics teams to provide business value.

Some of the functions of the position include:

- Collaborate with stakeholders and the team to find the best solution to every use case.
- Create new data objects or maintain existing ones, based in BigQuery SQL.
- Create and maintain  ETL processes on GCP
- Migration of on-premises processes to the cloud.
- Monitorization and alerting of errors.
 

Your profile

Required studies and competences:

• Possibility to sign a collaboration agreement with a study center.
• Studying a Bachelor's program in Computer Engineering or Software Engineering. Data Science. Mathematics and Statistics. Information Systems Engineering. Telecommunications Engineering. Big Data or Data Analytics. Computer Science. Business Intelligence.
• A background on mathematics, science or technology. Disposition to tackle big challanges that probably will require the employee to adquire new skills in the process.
