Organization Overview
Lilly has embarked on a very broad Digital Transformation journey in the Manufacturing & Supply Chain space with a goal to modernize and digitize operations in Planning, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Storage and Distribution of our products.
The scope of Supply chain solutions is broad, and the role will contribute to the elaboration of the multi-year implementation programs within the Manufacturing and Quality (M&Q) IDS organization.
Responsibilities:
An expert focused on creating and deploying business intelligence solutions through Microsoft Power BI/Tableau/custom reporting applications. Must possess extensive knowledge in data modelling, visualization, and integration techniques.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Power BI, SQL, Data modeling, DAX, Power Query, and should have expertise with Microsoft Fabric’s data integration and analytics capabilities.
MS Fabric and Business Intelligence Development:
Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards that meet business requirements.
Create data models, transformations, and data visualizations to support decision-making processes.
Able to create dataflows, DataMart’s for various transformations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and develop solutions accordingly.
Integration And Automation
Integrate Power BI with various data sources (SAP SharePoint, spreadsheets) and systems.
Develop and maintain ETL processes to ensure timely and accurate data availability for reporting.
Automate routine tasks and processes to improve efficiency.
Documentation, Testing and Training
Document configurations, processes, and best practices for fabric and Power BI administration.
Conduct training sessions for end-users and internal teams to enhance their Power BI proficiency.
Hands-on experience in extracting various reports from SAP, analyzing information and automating the report/dashboard generation process.
Should have Hands-on experience in report and data validation with best testing practices.
Process Improvement
Identify inefficiencies in supply chain operations and recommend data-driven solutions for optimization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement these improvements.
Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, presenting findings, reports, and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Performance Monitoring & Dashboards
Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and KPIs using Power BI.
Exceptional analytical skills: the ability to see patterns; and a structured and logical approach to decision making
Basic Qualifications/Requirements:
Experience: 4-6 years in data analytics or related fields.
Proficiency in Power BI, SQL, Data modeling, DAX, Power Query, and should have expertise with Microsoft Fabric’s data integration and analytics capabilities.
A solid understanding of database structures and SQL. Atleast 1-2 years of experience in writing scripts for data analysis using Python, SQL, or R.
HPALM or any testing platform understanding would be added advantage.
Previous experience in supply chain analytics with SAP data would be added advantage.
Nice to Have:Experience with Power Platform would be an added advantage.
Capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously and efficiently managing time.
Project Management: Familiarity with PMO methodologies and background in supporting or managing projects.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of clearly presenting complex data insights.
Problem-Solving: Highly analytical mindset with a proactive approach to resolving operational challenges.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous and detail-oriented, ensuring data accuracy and high-quality reporting.
