Junior Data Engineer

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS     

Position Responbilities :

• Gathers requirements, analyzes, creates design documents, and performs impact analysis.
• Knowledge and familiarity of underlying Data Warehousing Concepts and Oracle ERP applications database architecture.
• Develops IDMC(Informatica Data Management Cloud) ETL Objects, Snowflake SQL and Procedures.
• Assists users with problems and resolves issues independently.
• Creates test plans, test cases, test scripts and performs testing.
• Working knowledge of software development and support methodologies.
• Plans and organizes tasks, reports progress to manager.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

FORMAL EDUCATION: 

1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

1. Knowledge on SDLC.
2. Knowledge on OLAP.
3. Knowledge on Data Modeling concepts.
4. Knowledge on SQL, PL/SQL, Phyton or Java.
5. Knowledge on Snowflake or Oracle.
6. Knowledge on ETL / ELT, System Integration Process.

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:

1. Experience with testing tools, data warehousing.
2. Experience with Control-M BMC Scheduling tool.
3. Should have excellent attitude/skills with the business users.
4. Understanding of functional concepts & flow of Oracle Application Modules.
