Client Onboarding and Documentation is responsible for critical client documentation and is comprised of Digital Document Services, Wholesale KYC Operations (WKO), and supported by the Client Experience and Firmwide Collateral Transformation and Controls teams. Streamlining, digitization and consumption of client data and documents in a manner that is standardized, scalable, accessible and controlled is a primary goal, especially through the technology platforms used across these services.

As a Control Business Manager – VP on the Client Onboarding & Documentation Controls Management team (CO-D), you will optimize business performance, influence strategic initiatives, and drive execution and advise the CO-D Control Manager Business Head, manage business risks, and provide timely information for senior management. Responsibilities include contributing metrics data, updating risk and control performance, and conducting monthly management meetings. You will also enhance operational efficiency, lead special projects, analyze data, and prepare senior leadership updates. Strong communication, multitasking abilities, and a background in data, analytics, or product management are essential.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Produce timely presentations ensuring brand consistency and accuracy.
  • Respond promptly to executive ad-hoc requests for business and risk analysis, project management, and presentation development.
  • Assist and communicate with CO-D Leadership Team in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation.
  • Support strategic business initiatives from development through successful execution under senior leadership guidance.
  • Collaborate closely with department and support groups (Finance, Tech, CIB Operations Partners, Central Corporate Organizations, Legal, Compliance, HR, Audit) to achieve business outcomes.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the Business Head and represent the Group in various forums.
  • Represent the business in internal/external working groups and create high-quality communications materials for senior levels of the Firm.
  • Engage with peers to ensure understanding and effective presentation of information using creative visuals.
  • Build and maintain team relationships both locally and globally, collaborating on projects as needed.
  • Identify, assess, and drive strategic solutions to increase efficiency and create a resilient operating environment.
  • Collaborate with senior peers and partners within Client Onboarding & Documentation and across geographies.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • 10 years or more of experience in the financial services industry.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately present financial data and insights.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present to senior and global business heads.
  • Ability to forge strong internal relationships across a broad range of functions.
  • Self-motivated, tenacious, and able to work independently.
  • Ability to define and deliver a strategic agenda across multiple groups with excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Capability to drive reporting and projects individually and collaboratively with cross-organizational teams.
  • Previous product knowledge and/or prior Business Management experience in a growth initiative.
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint with excellent presentation and data visualization skills.
  • Strong analytical, communication, leadership, and quantitative skills; experience with Tableau, Qlik Sense, Python, and ML is a plus.
