About the job:

Data Engineer

We are seeking for a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our dynamic Data Management & Analytics team.

As a Data Engineer you will be responsible for the creation, design and management of modern intelligence applications/data bases to provide the necessary business information needed for decision making.

Requirements

Responsibilities

·         Create/design/manage databases/or build new databases to meet specific business needs

·         Configure new and existing systems and maintain the databases to ensure everything remains functional

·         Participate in the design of databases illustrating the classification of data and how they interact

·         Support data retrieval related to data collection, integration, enrichment, transformation and utilization

·         Automation reporting involving creation, management and distribution of reports according to the requirements of the Business units

·         Data acquiring from primary or secondary data sources or databases

Qualifications

·         Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Math or related field (BSc, MSc)

·         3+ years of experience in a relevant position (relational/multidimensional databases)

·         Understanding of modern requirements & methodologies in software development

·         Solid experience in SQL, Python and Spark

·         Proficiency in Azure, as well as expertise in data platforms such as Databricks and Synapse

·         Very good knowledge of Microsoft tools /Visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Qlick etc)

·         Very good knowledge of ETL Tools (Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services)

·         Knowledge of SSIS, SSAS and SSRS (Microsoft), will be considered as an asset

·         Customer-business service orientation and quality focus deliver

·         Proactive analytical expertise and problem solving approach

·         Team spirit and ability to learn, adapt, communicate and organize effectively
