Global BI Analyst

Summary:
The Global BI Analyst will support the Global BI Analytics team. The team is responsible to homogenize, curate, and organize data from different data sources and manage the analytics platform (PowerBI). The Global BI Analyst will work with two senior Global BI analysts and with stakeholders from supply chain, IT and associated functions as required.
The Global BI Analyst requires affinity with data modeling, ETL (Extract Transform Load) processes, and database management systems.
Responsibilities:
•
Download data from SAP, Rapid Response or other data sources; save all files into designated folder; optionally check the files in case of issues (e.g. wrong data, format, etc...)
•
Load the data using PowerShell script or MS Access; run SQL Script in order to apply Business logic and data consolidation
•
Refresh PowerBI reports & publish. Support basic maintenance on the reports
•
Work with the Fit For Growth program on the 'co-existence' process, during the period of working across two ERP systems, to ensure data is correctly aligned.
•
Follow and assist in enhancing Global Standard Processes relating to the Supply Chain Planning function.
•
Work with the analytics team to develop/validate, and subsequently run reports/dashboards to assist in delivering the above objectives.
Essential Functions of the Role**:

Talking, Hearing, Seeing/Reading, Ability to operate keyboard and standard office equipment (file cabinets, copier, fax, etc.), and travel.

Number of Overall Years Necessary: 5-8
•
Preferred length of experience:
• 3+ in Data analytics
Education Requirements
• 3-year college degree required
•
Professional Supply Chain Qualification preferable
Specialized Skills/Technical Knowledge:
Required:
•
Proficiency in SQL language / MS SQL developer or similar tools
•
Proficiency in PowerShell scripting / batch scripting
•
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Power Query
•
Collaborating with global colleagues
•
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts (Data keys and relationships)
•
Strong problem-solving abilities
Preferred:
•
Proficiency in BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, or others.
