A Day in the LifeBusiness Analyst 2 - Data Analytics - GOSC - IT - Operations & Innovation Bogota, Columbia

Analyst for on-going OI Programs ( SPC , MES , Livelink , CAMS , Quality , OI IT additional as needed )

Must be a person with great communication skills and capable to understand End User and Upper Management requirement and document them into the User Requirement Specifications.

Act as liaison between data architects, development team and end user to facilitate clear understand and verification of requirements to maximize the opportunities of success

Structured and organize multiple technical documentation as well as server as reviewer and approver of test plan, scripts, URS and report.

The IT Business Data Analyst will play a crucial role within the data & analytics for Global Operations and Supply Chain – IT - Operations and Innovation Team. This position focuses on leveraging data analytics to provide actionable insights across multiple teams. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, utilising advanced analytics tools to transform data into meaningful insights that enhance operational efficiency and business growth.

This position will report to IT Platform Manager for Digital Shop Floor / Ops&Innovation located in Costa Rica. The chosen candidate will have to opportunity to contribute in global programs within IT Ops& Innovation Portfolio which is a great opportunity to   learn and develop new skills

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

1.     Understand, map and document business requirement into functional and technical specifications for data analytics design and build

2.     Extract, clean, and analyse data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.

3.     Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate key metrics and insights to stakeholders.

4.     Perform ad-hoc analysis to support decision-making processes and provide actionable recommendations.

5.     Participate full in end to end testing for all Data Analytics products

6.     Work closely with finance, operations, and other departments to understand their data needs and provide tailored solutions.

7.     Communicate findings and insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders through presentations and reports.

8.     Act as a subject matter expert on business intelligence tools and best practices within the finance function

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• Commercial experience working within the med-tech or pharmaceutical industry.
• Between 3-5 years of experience in a business intelligence, data analysis, or manufacturing analytics role
• Strong Proficiency in data analytics tools such as SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Snowflake or similar.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to diverse audiences.
• Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
