Sr Data Analyst

About the Role:

Gartner Peer Insights’ (GPI) mission is to transform the way enterprise software & services are bought and sold by creating the industry standard for reviews and ratings. The Platform Growth team within GPI is responsible for expanding the visibility of registration on and contributions to Peer Insights ratings and reviews though efforts such as search engine optimization, promotional marketing and targeted email outreach.  

We have an opportunity for a Senior Data Analyst within the Growth team for an analytical problem solver who possesses a strong technical understanding of data and data systems. You should be passionate about data accuracy and integrity and possess a strong ability to turn data into strategic insights and recommendations. As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data

What you’ll do:

• Become a subject matter expert on data and data flows from GPI product, Eloqua Marketing Automation, Google Analytics and other critical business platforms,

• Analyse email campaign performance metrics, including open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and unsubscribes

• Develop custom reports and dashboards to (1) track key performance indicators and identify trends, (2) enable and influence senior stakeholders to prioritize and collaboratively execute the right growth initiatives

• Work closely with Product, Engineering, and other team members to support data-driven decision-making.

• Own processes and system improvements in different stages of data pipelines

• Facilitate automation opportunities as required

What you will need:

• Experience: 3+ years of experience involving analysis of large volumes of data with strong hands-on experience with analytical tools.  Ability to gather, analyse, restructure, identify and articulate insights from qualitative and quantitative data

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree, preferably with a quantitative concentration (e.g., statistics, data science, mathematics, engineering, operational research, computer science, or economics)

• Exceptional problem solving: Proven track record of solving complex problems, thinking creatively, and using data to tell a story

• Leadership: Shown ability to engage teams and key stakeholders

• Technical competency: Advanced Excel. Intermediate SQL, Python/R

• Collaboration: Strong collaboration and influencing

• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication as well as the ability to work independently
