Internship - Software Product Engineer - Computational Lithography

Introduction to the job

Perform feasibility studies on resist thickness modeling. Currently, we rely on multiple R3D model contours to monitor resist thickness losses/scum, which is not cost effective computationally. 

Role and responsibilities

• Get familiar with Tachyon model, and resist model in particular
• Perform studies on Resist Thickness Modeling, using Machine Learning methods or other methods
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and experience

• Currently pursuing PhD. or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Data Science, Chemical Engineering, IC manufacturing or Process Technology related technical field of engineering.
• Script level programming skills – intermediate to advance level of experience / knowledge using Python or MATLAB.
• Knowledge of machine learning.
• Experience or knowledge conducting Data Analysis and gathering data for reports.
• Basic Statistic knowledge .
• Knowledge of Semiconductor and Lithography is a plus.
• knowledge of Photoresist Chemistry a plus

Other information

• This position is located on-site in San Jose, CA.  It requires onsite presence to attend in-person work-related events, trainings and meetings and to further ensure teamwork, collaboration and innovation.
• Routinely required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch. Occasionally required to move around the campus.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely is required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch.
