Scope of the role
Our organization recognizes the critical role of data in driving informed decision-making and achieving business objectives. To further strengthen our data capabilities, we are seeking a motivated graduate to join us as a Data Engineer Intern for a 9-month internship. This strategic initiative aims to leverage advanced data engineering skills to enhance data processing, integration, and management within our Microsoft Profisee Master Data Management project.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop complex SQL scripts to process and retrieve the data from source systems and integrate Microsoft Profisee Master Data Management project.
- Develop and manage tasks related to Microsoft Profisee Master Data Management Modeling, Forms, Views, and Data Quality Rules, providing ongoing support.
- Collaborate on bug fixes and ensure alignment with the Business and Quality Assurance Teams.
- Create and develop optimal data pipeline using ETL tools.
- Optimize the data delivery and data pipelines to process data.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand and address data-related requirements.
- Assemble complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements.

About You
- Bachelor's or Graduate degree in Computer Science or another quantitative field.
- Fluent in English
- Knowledge of relational SQL databases (MS SQL Server is preferred)
- Experience in SQL and creating complex SQL stored procedures & views.
- Experience performing root cause analysis on data, answering specific business questions, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
- Experience in MDM Projects will be a plus (Microsoft Profisee is preferred)
- Experience working with Data Warehouse and BI Projects will be a plus.
- Experience in Data Modelling will be a plus.
- Fluency in English
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong prioritization and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to work with tight deadlines.
- Availability to commit to 5 days work week for 9 month internship period.
- Self-motivated individual and ability to work independently.
