Job Description

 We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior PowerBI Developer to join our dynamic team.

As a key member of our analytics department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining comprehensive and visually appealing reports using PowerBI.

The ideal candidate should possess strong SQL and DAX skills and have hands-on experience with Azure services, ensuring seamless integration and optimization of data for effective decision-making. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report Development
    • Design, develop, and maintain visually compelling and interactive reports using PowerBI.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions
  • Data Integration and Modeling:
    • Utilize strong SQL skills to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into PowerBI and write complex measures in DAX
    • Design and implement data models that align with business needs, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
    • Design and execute power automate flows to distribute company MI across the business
  • Azure Integration:
    • Leverage Azure services to enhance and optimize BI solutions.
    • Work with Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, and other relevant tools to ensure seamless data integration and processing.
  • Performance Optimization:
    • Identify and implement performance optimization strategies for reports and dashboards to ensure optimal user experience.
    • Conduct regular performance tuning and troubleshooting of BI solutions.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.
    • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Documentation:
    • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for BI solutions, including data models, report specifications, and best practices.

 

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics).
    • Proven experience as a Business Intelligence Report Writer, with a focus on PowerBI.
    • Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
    • Proficient in DAX and Power Automate
    • Hands-on experience with Azure services, such as Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Analysis Services.
    • Strong experience with Data Warehousing using Kimball and STAR schema
    • Excellent data visualization and reporting skills.
    • Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.
    • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
