Job Description

Location: Windsor

Work pattern: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 from home)

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated SQL Analyst Developer to join our Business Intelligence Solutions team.

This team is responsible for

  • maintaining and enhancing the business’s lead management and CRM capabilities
  • providing BI analysts with accurate and relevant application data
  • leveraging business insights and predictive models developed by the BI team into self-optimising, productionised systems within the wider business.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining SQL queries, procedures, and scripts to extract complex datasets needed for our business intelligence and reporting needs. Additionally, the candidate will support the development of production-level performant code for the organisation’s various CRM and lead-management applications and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Extraction and Transformation:

   - Design and develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts for efficient data extraction and transformation.

   - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure accurate and timely delivery of BI solutions.

2. Business Intelligence:

   - Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather BI requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

   - Development and maintenance of complex datasets needed for reports, dashboards, and visualizations using BI tools such as Power BI or similar

3. Production Code Development:

   - Work closely with IT Teams that are making changes to production systems for lead management and CRM applications and systems, to leverage BI models and insights, and ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.

   - Collaborate with software developers to integrate SQL components seamlessly into applications.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field strongly preferred.

- Proven experience as a SQL Developer Analyst with a focus on BI and production-level code.

 

Preferred Skills:

- Strong proficiency in SQL, T-SQL, and experience working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- Knowledge of data modeling and database design principles.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).

- Programming skills in languages such as Python or Java.
