Power BI Analyst

We are seeking a Power BI Analyst with expertise in designing and developing interactive dashboards and reports that meet business needs. This role requires proficiency in data modeling and analysis to ensure accuracy and deliver actionable insights from complex data sources. The ideal candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and continuously enhance Power BI tools for optimal user experience. Additionally, they will provide training and support to empower business users in effectively leveraging data insights.

 

Your Impact:

• Design and Develop Dashboards: Create dynamic, interactive, and visually compelling dashboards and reports in Power BI to meet business requirements.

• Data Modeling: Build and maintain data models and datasets in Power BI, ensuring accuracy and performance optimization.

• Data Analysis: Analyze complex data from multiple sources, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to support business decisions.

• Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders from different departments to gather requirements, understand their needs, and translate them into technical solutions.

• Report Maintenance: Regularly update, maintain, and troubleshoot existing reports and dashboards to ensure they are functioning correctly and reflect up-to-date data.

• Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of Power BI reports and dashboards, making necessary improvements for optimization.

• Data Governance: Ensure data quality and consistency across reports by adhering to data governance best practices.

• Training & Support: Provide training and support to business users on using Power BI dashboards and understanding the insights provided.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field.

• 2+ years creating dashboards and reports – PowerBI preferred but experience in Tableau or Looker, etc. is fine.

• Strong technical knowledge in Excel and databases.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot data-related issues.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
