About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Manager - IT Data & Analytics to join Jumeirah Group & Corporate. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

  • Execute the data and analytics strategy and roadmap for the organization.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver solutions that meet their expectations.
  • Manage data and analytics projects, including initiation, planning, execution and closing.
  • Work with data engineers, data analysts, data architects and relevant IT teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality data solutions that are in line with best practices and standards.
  • Design and implement data architectures, pipelines, models, and dashboards using best practices and industry standards, in accordance with the Data Governance frameworks established for Dubai Holding.
  • Ensure the reliability, security, and compliance of data sources, systems, and processes.
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support business decision making and problem solving.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in data and analytics technologies and methodologies. Identify and evaluate technologies and tools that are relevant to the business.
  • Analyze and interpret data from various sources, including property management systems, points of sale, customer relationship management systems, and other hospitality-related systems.

About you:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in data and analytics, with proven track record of leading and managing data projects and teams.
  • Proficient in data analysis, modeling, and visualization tools and languages, such as SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of data warehousing, data engineering, data governance, and data quality principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex data concepts into clear and actionable insights.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
