Manager - Data Science

     

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Abbott Healthcare is looking for a data scientist to help drive actionable business insights through advanced statistical modelling and machine learning algorithms. The candidate should conduct and manage analysis and modelling as well as communicate results to the senior stakeholders.

• Ability to translate business questions into analytical problems and recommend solutions using statistical modelling, visualization techniques, machine learning

• Utilize technologies to collect, clean and analyze data from multiple systems • Conceptualize, design and deliver high quality solutions and insightful analysis through solutions such as customer segmentation & targeting, forecasting, supply chain analytics etc., and effectively communicates insights to the stakeholders

• Work and collaborate with other teams to deliver understandable and actionable business intelligence for senior stakeholders

• Implement and maintain the effectiveness of the quality system. Provide data and metrics compliant with the Business

• Ability to learn and pick up a new language/ tool/ platform quickly Skills: • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills

Strong programming skills and expertise in using SQL and Python for Data Science

• Hands-on experience in implementation of various machine learning algorithms and time-series algorithms

• Experience working in at least one of the cloud platforms preferred: Azure, AWS, or GCP

• An innate desire to learn & grow in the area of Data Science

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field, with 2 - 4 years of demonstrated experience in developing ML algorithms, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects to production
