We are seeking an architect specializing in multimedia algorithms (Imaging, Computer Vision, Graphics) for Silicon Acceleration. The role requires knowledge in both classic and ML algorithms. The candidate will contribute to the development of algorithms, software modeling, and bit-accurate specifications for hardware acceleration.

The ideal candidate for this role will have developed pixel processing algorithms, and has an excellent grasp of the graphics pipeline, imaging pipeline, and / or computer vision acceleration, including SW/HW emulation and power/performance optimization. Successful candidates are motivated self-starters who are comfortable operating in a cross-functional environment and have a hands-on approach to problem-solving.AR Silicon Accelerators Algorithms Architect Responsibilities
  • Work on end-to-end problems in domains of Image processing for Camera / Display / Computer Vision / Graphics
  • Invent and develop Algorithms that combine ML and ‘classic’ processing that are optimizing performance at low power
  • Develop software including functional model and bit accurate model in fixed point
  • Closely work with SW teams across the entire stack to support the enablement of the features
  • Provide support and guidance to the silicon implementation team that is designing and verifying the accelerators
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience working on Graphics / Imaging / CV Algorithms
  • Track record of developing algorithms, from concept to implementation
  • Proficiency in C++ / C, including fixed point implementation
  • Experience in developing models and enabling performance analysis and optimization
Preferred Qualifications
  • PhD in EE / Computer Science or related fields
  • Experience developing algorithms for acceleration in AR/VR or Mobile application processors
