AWS Solutions Architect

Spatial Front Inc. is looking to develop cloud-based solutions leveraging front-end frameworks and conversational AI services. Our objective is to provide Information Technology Support Services to business investments throughout all phases of Enterprise Performance Life Cycle (EPLC). The project will primarily support an Enterprise Architecture Center of Excellence (EACoE) team.

• Master's Degree in a related field
• 10 years of experience
• Extensive experience with AWS services, including AWS Lambda, SageMaker, and AWS Bedrock
• Proficiency in Python for serverless computing and integration of ML services
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices in Agile environments
• Strong experience with front-end frameworks like AngularJS
• Experience in designing modular, scalable cloud-based systems

Certifications Required: AWS CERTIFIED SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT ASSOCIATE

(OR HIGHER-LEVEL CERTIFICATIONS SUCH AS AWS CERTIFIED SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT – PROFESSIONAL)

Desired Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of AWS innovation credits, AWS certifications, and technical support processes is a plus
• Ability to align AWS services with business innovation and growth
• Experience in training and upskilling team members in AWS technologies is a plus

Non-technical activities:

• Project management, including planning and roadmap creation
• Requirements gathering, competitive sourcing, and analysis of alternatives
• Strategic planning and process improvement
• Cost and risk analysis, as well as preparation of detailed executive presentations

Technical activities:

• Design and build cloud-based solutions using AWS technologies
• Develop modular components for integrating machine learning (ML) services and data pipelines
• Create solution designs, including system architecture diagrams and specifications
• Leverage front-end frameworks like AngularJS, AWS SageMaker, and AWS Bedrock
• Implement conversational AI services for interactive user experiences
• Incorporate DevSecOps practices within an Agile delivery framework

Primary Responsibilities

• Designing, deploying, and managing cloud-native solutions on AWS
• Using AWS services like Lambda (Python preferred), API Gateway, and S3 for building modular and scalable components
• Working with ML services and data pipeline integration
• Leveraging AWS tools such as SageMaker for AI/ML model building and deployment
• Managing front-end development with frameworks such as AngularJS
• Integrating conversational AI services (e.g., Amazon Lex, Polly, or third-party services)
• Evaluate new AWS technologies, ensuring compatibility with FDA ORA objectives
• Guide the company on best practices for AWS innovation credits, cost optimization, and AWS certification training
• Lead initiatives related to AWS technical support, training certifications, and overall cloud strategy
• Provide thought leadership and serve as the AWS technical point of contact across the company
• Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations and detailed technical documentation
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive cloud initiatives
• Act as a mentor, fostering AWS expertise and knowledge-sharing across teams
• Independent worker capable of minimal oversight
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for delivering technical documentation and executive presentations
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and serve as a subject matter expert

• The salary for this position is $125,000 - $165,000 annually
