Sr. Data Quality Engineer

Job Description

We are searching for a  full-time employee willing to adopt new cloud technologies, strongly interested in data and continuous delivery. You will be working in an international team of data enthusiasts.

As part of enterprise Data Quality platform you will be involved in the following areas:

• Working with the consumers on their onboarding to the platform and its adoption within their teams.

• Training users of the platform, so that everybody uses the service consistently.

• Working on the standards for platform usage.

• Create or help creating, and maintaining data quality rules and checks.

• Product engineering and evolution of current automation utilities.

What we expect you to bring to the table:

• Demonstrated knowledge of analytical tools and platforms.

• Strong level of SQL knowledge.

• Knowledge of GitHub and Python is a must. Having some experience with Spark/PySpark would be a good addon.

• Understanding of REST APIs and how to use them programmatically.

• Experience with data visualization tools would be an advantage.

• Knowledge of data transformation (ETL/ELT) is an advantage as well.

• Good standard of professional communication and negotiations with customers.

• Openness to innovations and willingness to learn new areas and adapt to change.

• Not to mention efficient business and technical level of English.

• Documentation habits with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Accuracy and attention to detail.

• Critical analytical thinking and problem-solving attitude. Keen sense of urgency and customer focus.

• Team player spirit.

• Good time-management skills.
