Job Description
 

As an “Enterprise Data Architect”, you’re working at the interface between Business and IT in a growing, fast paced environment, where you can make a real impact.

  • You are responsible to develop and implement an enterprise-wide data architecture that aligns with the LGT Capital Partners business strategy and supports its data needs. Own the enterprise data landscape and represent the data topic in the projects to provide guidance and ensure they are in line with the overall data strategy;

  • You collaborate with business units to identify key data assets and understand their impact on business operations and decision-making;

  • You ensure clear master data, with no overlaps between source system data. Define and manage the source of truth for each data element;.

  • You lead and develop a team of data professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation;

  • You promote and ensure data quality through clear ownership and accountability. Implement measures to monitor and improve data quality;

  • You establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with laws and regulations;

  • You work closely with IT teams and decision-makers to align data initiatives with the strategic goals of the organization;

  • You collaborate with various departments to understand their data needs and ensure they are met in a timely and efficient manner;

  • You provide training and support to other teams in the organization on data governance and management matters.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in data management, data governance in a professional, challenging environment;

  • Profen experience in designing and implementing enterprise data architecture;

  • Strong understanding of data governance principles and practices including relevant frameworks like TOGAF or Zachman;

  • Strong knowledge of data modelling and ability to discuss with various stakeholders (e.g., business, IT) how to adopt such models in practice;

  • Proven experience in data governance solutions (cataloguing, lineage, MDM) and data integration (e.g., Data Factory);

  • Interest in and strong affinity to technology; First experience in bringing together heterogenous data governance requirements specifically in settings with diverse needs across businesses and organizational units;

  • Knowledge of alternative investments, in particular Private Markets, would be a plus;

  • Driven personality with eagerness to solve problems, perform root cause analysis and improve processes;

  • Ability to think strategically and relate architectural decisions and recommendations to business needs

  • Experience in leading a team and managing people with the potential to further develop;

  • Excellent communication and presentation (orally and written) skills;

  • Fluency in English, German is a plus.
