Master Data Management (MDM) Solution Architect

We are looking for a highly motivated and innovative Master Data Management (MDM) solution Architect, who’ll join our IBM Data & AI Software services organization, the Technology Expert Labs, in the beautiful city of Kraków, Poland. We’re looking for a person with a passion to the world of databases, large data transactions systems and mainframe computing. As individual contributor this position will work directly with cross functional teams, product management, support and engineering to build and transform data systems at big, enterprise customers.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As an MDM Solution Architect, you would be responsible for:

• Working closely with client architects to implement best-of-class MDM solutions
• Actively participate in business requirements gathering sessions and understand client requirements
• Create, present and get sign-offs for design documents and unit test scenarios
• Assist PM in planning and driving low level project tasks
• Mentor team of technical consultants and oversee their work items
• Create release documents and help build and deploy code across servers
• Create low level design documents and unit test cases
• Debug critical technical issues and provide prompt resolutions
• Highlight technical issues and challenges and propose creative solutions
• Train junior technical resources in MDM/Match360

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Deep experience in solution design and implementing IBM MDM CE/Product Master, Data Modelling, Scrum Agile Methodologies
• Experience in leading MDM projects from sales handover to go-live.
• Experience in data quality management, including data cleansing, matching, and linking.
• Creating specs, work flows, hierarchy, category, catalogues, collaboration area, attribution collection to support data modelling using MDM Collaboration Server
• Solid experience with a J2EE environment including experience with application servers (WebSphere, Weblogic)
• Solid experience with Java and databases such as DB2 and Oracle, understanding of data modeling and strong SQL skills a must
• Experience developing and deploying in a Services Oriented Architecture
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience in data governance, including data stewardship, data management policies, and data quality frameworks.
• Experience in data analytics, including data visualization, reporting, and dashboarding.
• Experience in cloud-based MDM solutions, such as Salesforce MDM or Microsoft Azure MDM.
• Familiarity with IBM Match360, Certifications in MDM solutions, such as Informatica, IBM, or SAP.
• Good to have Knowledge: IBM Infosphere Master Data Management(AESE), IBM RSA tool, Kafka, Apache Spark, Apache Flink, Spring boot, OpenShift, GitHub, JIRA
• Knowledge in second European language on communicative level
