A big Swedish bank’s digital organization is undergoing an exciting transformation to enhance its digital capabilities, and we are looking for a talented Data Engineer to join the Data & Analytics team. In this role, you will develop and maintain data pipelines on the bank’s AWS-based Data Platform, playing a key part in data product delivery for areas like Finance, Compliance, and Risk.

As part of an agile Data Delivery team, you will collaborate closely with Tech Leads, Data Analysts, other Data Engineers, and Product Owners to build efficient and maintainable data solutions, supporting the development of features across Agile Release Trains.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and support data pipelines on the AWS-based Data Platform.
  • Transform designs and requirements into efficient, maintainable, and reusable code.
  • Automate processes such as CI/CD pipelines, testing, and data quality checks.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure seamless data delivery.
  • Participate in the solution design process and contribute to DevOps practices.

Requirements

  • Must-Have Experience:
    • Minimum 2 years of experience with Redshift Datawarehouse development.
    • Experience with AWS data technologies such as S3, Python, IAM, AWS Glue, AWS Athena, Spark, Redshift, and Airflow.
    • Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills.
    • Ability to understand data from a business context and conceptualize complex technical issues.
  • Highly Valued Experience:
    • Data modeling experience, particularly for Data Warehouses.
    • Previous experience in the banking/financial industry.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Motivated, self-driven, and collaborative.
    • Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
  • Additional Experience:
    • Familiarity with Oracle RDBMS and Informatica is advantageous.
    • Knowledge of Agile frameworks, preferably SAFe.
