We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Data Scientist to join and lead the development of the Data Science area within the Marketing team. This will be the first Data Scientist profile in the marketing team, providing you with the opportunity to design and lead the data strategy to optimize our marketing initiatives, campaigns, and processes through advanced technology and data analytics. The ideal candidate should be able to develop technical solutions and lead cultural and strategic change towards a data-driven organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and lead the data science strategy within the marketing team, utilizing predictive analytics, machine learning, and other advanced techniques to improve the efficiency and impact of marketing campaigns.
• Implement data analytics solutions that optimize audience segmentation, content personalization, marketing automation, and ROI measurement.
• Collaborate with marketing, CRM, and MarTech teams to integrate data models that support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
• Develop dashboards and visualization tools that allow continuous monitoring of key KPIs, offering actionable insights for the marketing teams.
• Define and implement best practices in data management within the marketing team, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR).
• Train and guide future Data Science team members within the marketing area, establishing a culture based on experimentation and continuous optimization.
• Act as an ambassador for data use within the marketing team, demonstrating the value of data analysis in impacting business outcomes and marketing strategies.
• Identify opportunities to integrate new MarTech technologies and tools that drive growth and efficiency for the team.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s or Ph.D. is highly valued.
• 5+ years of experience in Data Science roles, preferably with a focus on marketing, customer data analysis, or marketing technologies (MarTech).
• Experience leading data science projects, from development to implementation, with a measurable impact on marketing or sales strategies.
• Proficiency in machine learning techniques, predictive analytics, and statistical modeling.
• Strong knowledge of Python, R, SQL, and Big Data platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
• Advanced skills in data visualization using tools like Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.
• Ability to work with large volumes of data, generate valuable insights, and communicate results clearly to non-technical teams.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and promote a data-driven decision-making culture.
• Strategic and results-oriented approach, with experience making decisions that generate measurable impact.
