The Cyber Security & Data Protection Engineering team is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to build products that secure mobile devices, application and data. You will work on web filtering, policy enforcement, next-gen firewall, sandboxing, DLP, Saas API, CASB, Sandbox and Endpoint Protection user solutions. This role is onsite 3+ days a week in San Jose, CA and will report to a Sr Manager of Engineering. You will:

• Validate complex features which includes building and automating test cases.
• Develop/maintain automation frameworks and tools to improve testing processes.
• Lead scalability, stress, and performance testing for our products.
• Collaborate with teams to identify performance bottlenecks and propose solutions.
• Work with customers and partners to simulate customer scenarios which help validate the product.
• Identify and propose areas of improvement throughout the software development process.
• Implement cloud security measures to ensure protection for our systems.
• Communicate test results and recommendations

What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

• 3+ years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test
• 3+ years of TCP/IP and Linux experience
• 3+ years of object-oriented design and Python or C coding skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar technical field

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Knowledge of Python, Java, C or R and of operating systems concepts
• Experience with machine learning algorithms and techniques.
• Experience in AWS, Azure, GCP
• Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering and data visualization

The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.

Base Pay Range$122,500—$175,000 USD
