Inviting applications for the role of a Principal Consultant – Big Data! 

Ideal candidates should have technical experience in Hadoop ,Oozie,HDFS & Hive. Hold hands on experience in managing Kafka & real time streaming applications. 

This key role demands a highly motivated individual with a strong background in Computer Science/ Software Engineering. You are meticulous, thorough and possess excellent communication skills to engage with all levels of our stakeholders. A self-starter, you are up-to-speed with the latest developments in the tech world. 

  

Responsibilities 

• experience in Hadoop Ecosystem (Dev/Admin) 

• Apache Kafka: Hands on experience in managing Kafka & real time streaming applications 

• Hadoop: Proficiency in Hadoop ecosystem components such as HDFS, oozie, hive, spark 

• Strong understanding of data processing frameworks 

• Understanding of Java programming for managing data processing applications is good to have 

• Familiarity with other big data technologies like Hbase is optional 

• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is good to have 

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. 

• Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to challenges 

  

Qualifications we seek in you! 

Minimum Qualifications / Skills 

• Bachelor’s Degree with  experience in Information Technology. 

• experience in Hadoop ,Oozie, HDFS & Hive. 

• Hands on experience in managing Kafka & real time streaming applications 

  

  

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills 

• Very good written and presentation / verbal communication skills with experience of customer interfacing role. 

• In-depth requirement understanding skills with good analytical and problem-solving ability, interpersonal efficiency, and positive attitude. 

• Experience in Informatica  

• Experience in the telecommunication industry 

• Experience with cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
