Work Location: Remote (Canada/USA)

As a Data Architect at Quantiphi, you will lead the design and implementation of data solutions for big data challenges, focusing on migration, storage, and processing, with an emphasis on contact center analytics.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop data models supporting business intelligence, particularly in contact center data and analytics.

  • Design and implement custom calculations, and create data tables for reporting and analytics. Proficient in SQL and ETL processes.

  • Build intuitive dashboards using AWS QuickSight, delivering actionable insights for contact center operations.

  • Set up and manage AWS Kinesis for exporting historical data. Seamlessly integrate Kinesis with AWS and external systems.

  • Provide consulting on AWS Connect data structures, advising stakeholders on best practices for data management.

  • Work with Postgres and NoSQL databases (e.g., DynamoDB, MongoDB). Leverage AWS services such as RDS and DynamoDB for high availability and scalability.

  • Design resilient data architectures, including multi-AZ deployments, failover mechanisms, and disaster recovery planning.

  • Develop and maintain Python scripts for data manipulation and integration in support of engineering workflows.

  • Optimize data pipelines for performance and reliability.

  • Stay updated with industry trends, integrating new tools and techniques as appropriate.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience designing data architectures supporting both real-time and historical analytics.

  • Expertise in building real-time and historical reporting solutions, ensuring data accuracy and timely insights.

  • Strong verbal and written skills, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

  • Team player with leadership experience, mentoring junior engineers and fostering cross-functional collaboration.

  • High attention to detail, particularly in developing and supporting test cases.

Certifications & Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.

  • AWS Certifications:

    • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional 

    • AWS Certified Data Analytics
