What You’ll Be Doing:

• Evolent Mission: achieve better outcomes for people with the most complex health conditions by integrating provider care across to improve the patient care journey.
• We have roughly 5000 employees across 3 different countries, but only provide health care in the US.
• 100% remote company, officially HQ’d in Virginia in the US with offices also in Pune and Manilla.
• We are publicly traded on the NYSE and our revenue is north of $2B, and we’ve given guidance to continued growth and expansion to the investment community.

As a member of the Platform Engineering organization, you will be part of a team responsible for managing the large footprint of our cloud and on-premises infrastructure.

We are transforming the way we manage cloud infrastructure and your role as Site Reliability Engineer is instrumental in our success. This role is for you If you are interested in becoming part of our highly talented team.

 What you’ll be doing …

• Enhance state of observability across our applications and cloud infrastructure.
• Partner with DevOps in advancing Infra as Code and Config as Code discipline.
• Execute all corrective actions identified as part of post-incident reviews / RCA.
• Identify performance bottlenecks as part of APM and resolve each.
• Implement and manage core security model configuration in accordance with Infosec guidance.
• Execute a technical debt mitigation strategy in partnership with Risk Management team.

You will need this to be successful …

• 4 to 5 years of hands-on Azure and 8 + years of overall cloud platform related experience.
• Expertise in at least one of these scripting languages: PowerShell, YA         ML, HCL, Python.
• Passion and creativity for Automation using tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
• Experience in working with GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Expertise in at least one of the APM tools: Prometheus, Dynatrace, DataDog.
• Experience leveraging agile methodology (i.e., Scrumban) to manage project work.
• Extremely good at communication and comfortable with high level of transparency.
• Willing to work in shift time 2:30 pm to 11:30 pm(IST).
• Low ego.

Academic Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
