Location Details: 

At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time; others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.​

This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.

Join our Data and Artificial Intelligence team at GoDaddy as a Senior Machine Learning Scientist if you are enthusiastic about machine learning and making a difference in the world of small businesses. This role offers the opportunity to pioneer machine learning models for Pricing and Generative AI projects. You will collaborate closely with ML engineers to build ML pipelines that tackle impactful problems. Your collaboration with other platform teams will be critical in ensuring the reliability and quality of our ML solutions!

What you'll get to do...

• Develop and implement advanced machine learning algorithms for Pricing and Generative AI projects using PyTorch
• Craft and refine ML models to improve their performance, scalability, and adaptability
• Analyse and interpret complex data sets to inform model development and ensure accuracy and efficiency
• Keep abreast of the latest developments in machine learning and artificial intelligence, integrating new methodologies and techniques as appropriate
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to integrate ML solutions within broader product and platform initiatives
• Contribute to the development of standardised processes for model evaluation, validation, and deployment to production environments
• Drive the exploration and adoption of brand-new ML technologies to maintain our competitive edge in the industry

Your experiences should include...

• 4+ years of overall experience and 2+ years of experience in machine learning engineering or related roles
• Proficient in Python programming language.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms, tools, and techniques, such as supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, computer vision, natural language processing, etc
• Experience in building ML models in production using AWS ecosystem, especially ML related services such as SageMaker
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Experience in writing unit tests and documentation for ML code
• Knowledge of standard methodologies in software engineering, including version control, code review, CI/CD, etc

You might also have...

• Experience in working with large-scale and complex data sets
• Experience in applying machine learning to domains such as e-commerce, finance, health care, etc
• Experience in using ML tools such as Mlflow for model lifecycle management
• Experience with common ML libraries and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, Scikit-learn
• Experience in timely engineering and large language models (LLM) is a plus
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages
• Understanding of containerisation technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Airflow
