Job Description

The Business Intelligence Developer Lead Consultant provides the development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of complex Business Intelligence solutions and reports through the use of the Microsoft SQL Server BI stack and/or other tools. This role is responsible for the aggregation of data from multiple sources into an efficient data warehouse and designing reporting solutions for very large multi- dimensional databases.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis and Reporting:
•    Develop, implement, and maintain BI solutions, including reports, dashboards, and data models.
•    Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
•    Translate business requirements into technical specifications for BI solutions.

ETL Development:
•    Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the data warehouse.
•    Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and performance of ETL processes.

Data Warehouse Management:
•    Design and maintain data warehouse architecture, including dimensional modeling and data integration.
•    Optimize data storage and retrieval processes to support reporting and analytics.

Collaboration and Communication:
•    Work closely with business stakeholders, business/systems analysts, and IT teams to understand data needs and deliver effective BI solutions.
•    Provide training and support to end-users on BI tools and reports.

Quality Assurance:
•    Conduct testing and validation of BI solutions to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
•    Troubleshoot and resolve data issues and discrepancies.

Continuous Improvement:
•    Stay updated with the latest BI technologies, tools, and best practices.
•    Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of BI solutions.

Qualifications:
•    Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience: 
•    Minimum of 8 years of experience in BI development, data analysis, and data warehousing.

•    12+ months experience in Lender Place Insurance Tracking and Loss Draft business services,

associated processes, systems knowledge, and hands-on application development experience in

a lead role.

•    Minimum 2 years of experience working in a lead capacity with offshore developers.
•    Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
•    Advanced SQL skills and experience with ETL tools (e.g., SSIS).
Technical Skills:
•    Strong understanding of data warehouse design principles and dimensional modeling.
•    Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) is a plus.

Soft Skills:
•    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
•    Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
•    Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is $104,000.00 - 159,750.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
