Enterprise Data Quality Analyst - Location: 14460 Varsity Brands Way, Farmers Branch, TX 75244

As Data Quality Analyst you will ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data leveraged across Varsity Brands. The primary focus will be on monitoring, analyzing, and improving data quality across various systems and databases. The Data Quality Analyst will serve as a critical member of our team of collaborators including data engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to identify data quality issues, develop solutions, and install data management best practices.

What you will do:

  • Document and catalog existing Master Data processes and workflows, including data capture and data maintenance.
  • Perform data profiling and analysis to understand data patterns, trends, and relationships.
  • Raise the level of Data Quality awareness across domains.
  • Identify process gaps, vulnerabilities, and areas of duplication of data and/or process.
  • Support Data stewards to investigate root causes of data quality issues and implement corrective actions and preventive measures.
  • Develop and publish data quality standards, policies, and procedures to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data quality requirements and establish data quality metrics and KPIs.
  • Design and execute data quality tests and validation processes to assess data integrity and compliance with established standards.
  • Develop and maintain data quality reports and dashboards to help Data Stewards track performance and communicate findings to their stakeholders.
  • Work closely with data governance team to ensure adherence to data governance policies and standards.

What you need:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, statistics, mathematics, computer science, information management, or similar.
  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis, working with large/complex datasets in multiple formats
  • Experience with Master Data Management solutions and applications preferred
  • Familiarity with Data Governance practices and principles
  • Proficient with data analytics and monitoring applications such as Tableau, Power BI, SAS, etc.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, advanced problem-solving skills, knowledge of best practices in data analysis.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
