Master Data Operations Team Leader

About the role:

The Master Data Team Leader is a member of the Master Data Operations Team reporting directly to the Global Operations Master Data Manager. MD Team Leader leads a team of MD analysts and supports correct and efficient data management and utilization across the different functions globally and organizations within BC.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage people (plan and organize team work, interview candidates in recruitment process, supervise  induction process for newcomers, set goals to team members, perform performance reviews, daily monitoring of teams and their performance, maintain updated skills matrix for direct reports/ set and maintain back-up structure, ensure communication flow and cascade information to the direct reports)
• Mentoring, coaching and developing directly reporting team members (facilitating development path, allowing and providing opportunities) 
• Global responsibility for service delivery (all KPIs) for material master data by managing teams in Lodz (two time zones - EMEA and NA) as well as by indirectly managing the work of people from NA and APAC regions. Meet lead time and quality targets related to Master Data Operations - SLA agreements, quality of service. Highlight risk of not meeting targets to Master Data Manager
• Stakeholders relations (Handling and preventing complaints and escalation, regular connect with key stakeholders, first point of escalation for Master Data Operations) - on different levels (from VPs to operational people) for all regions
• Identify process risks and gaps, propose and implement solutions /improvements to the processes
• Flag gaps in existing documentation, propose and implement changes to existing documentation
• Mentor on the process & conduct process trainings
• Active contribution in the implementations of new systems and tools for Master Data department 
• Support MD projects (providing requirements/performing tests, taking part in design phase), flagging risk during project operationalization 
• Actively contribute to BC culture through promoting BC values

About you:

• University degree (Bachelor)
• Very Good knowledge of the English language
• Experience in SAP Master Data environment, min. 3  years in at least one master data object is a must 
• People management experience > 2 years
• Experience in managing teams (as advantage also the teams across locations)
• Experience in Material/Customer/Vendor/Finance Master Data 
• Experience in systems such as SAP/SalesForce/Remedyforce, Google tools will be an asset
• Ability to connect to different levels in the organization 
• Ability to set up priorities for her/himself and for the (global) team
• Strong ability to coach and motivate staff, keen on sharing knowledge
