POSITION SUMMARY:

 

The Sr Analyst for Media Analytics is responsible for analyzing and interpreting media data to provide actionable insights and recommendations to optimize media campaigns and drive business growth. This is a hybrid position supporting in our Manhattan , NYC corporate HQ typically 1 day per week, while working remotely other days.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Analytics Set-up

  • Define and implement best practices and standards for data analytics & data science
  • Guide instrumentation of scalable metrics to measure efficiency, effectiveness, impact, and value to the business (e.g., web engagement, journey analysis, SEO and campaign analysis etc.)
  • Work closely with a complex and decentralized organization that has distributed data ownership, potentially involving multiple projects across various teams. Foster strong and productive relationships with collaborators and stakeholders
  • Drive the implementation of propensity and attribution modeling, leveraging analytical insights to identify, understand, and predict player behavior, ultimately optimizing marketing strategies for enhanced engagement and conversion
  • Provide support in the development, implementation, and supervision of channel forecasting and budget management processes & procedures, ensuring effective financial control

 

Dashboarding + Insights Delivery

  • Create & manage reporting as well as data visualization for Campaign Reporting, Analysis and Insight Generation
  • Utilize advanced analytical techniques to extract meaningful insights from large datasets and inform marketing decisions
  • Communicate and present analytics findings and solutions to internal and external audiences, using clear & compelling data visualizations and narratives
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to generate insights from strategy execution aligned to business goals and desired outcomes
  • Conducting social campaign performance measurement, including the development of KPIs, projections, executive updates, and campaign post-mortem analysis
  • Reshaping weekly and monthly reporting to strike a balance between always on deliverables and campaign-specific work to maximize the utility of the analysis
  • Developing dashboards to enable real-time performance insights
  • Guiding agency partners in the development of dashboards, reports, and the presentation of data and insights via regular and ad-hoc reporting

 

Advanced Analytics & Research

  • Leverage machine learning and predictive modeling to identify trends, forecast performance, and optimize marketing strategies
  • Engage with business partners to pinpoint efficiencies and enhance the impact of our acquisition and retention channels, introducing innovative strategies, refining personalization and targeting, optimizing delivery processes, and incorporating new capabilities
  • Drive digital growth through a thorough analysis of the competitive landscape, fine-tuning existing channel performance, and uncovering opportunities for operational efficiency enhancements
  • Apply strategic thinking to identify and quantify emerging opportunities, assess their impact on players, and present new recommendations aimed at propelling business growth

 

Audience Strategy & Testing

  • Develop and execute advanced audience segmentation strategies, leveraging demographic, psychographic, and behavioral insights to enable optimized targeting and personalized marketing messages
  • Recommend and prioritize strategic testing opportunities to improve conversion rates and customer journeys
  • Identify best performing, most-valuable audience types based on lead source and working with Customer Insights and Finance to evaluate best customers for future growth and engagement opportunities
  • Spearhead the creation and development of existing member segments through comprehensive collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring targeted and personalized communication strategies that align with business objectives

 

Media Efficiency

  • Be a partner to media on Commercial Analytics Assessments & Brand Media Effectiveness Assessments to translate learnings for implementation
  • Coordinate with external agency to manage CMM (Commerical Mix Model) adherence

 

Internal Evangelist

  • Act as the subject matter expert for cross functional partners, sharing best practices, industry trends, monitoring competitive activity and developing KPI benchmarks
  • Management of Budgets and liaising with Accounting & Finance
  • Raise POs, ensure provision is made for yet un-invoiced spends
  • Be accessible to the Accounting teams for addressing any inquiries or concerns pertaining to accruals

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, Masters Degree is a plus!
  • 3+ years of experience in analyzing innovative, multi-channel campaigns to generate insights that drive future test and learn strategy; has a strong understanding of paid digital media, SEO, web, email, social platforms and how they impact data models for sales and service
  • 3+ years deep knowledge of digital marketing across email, SMS, app, social, display, search and programmatic platforms
  • 3+ years data visualization experience for creation of dashboards
  • 3+ years advanced data analytics knowledge and high proficiency with reporting/visualization tools such as Amazon Quick sight, Power BI, Tableau, Google Analytics or Data Studio
  • Proficiency utilizing Excel
  • Certified Google Analytics and/or Adobe Analytics with 3+ years of experience
  • Familiarity with digital marketing platforms and social media analytics tools
  • Prefer to have : Experience with DTC & B2C, in retail or CPG or luxury industries 
  • Good to have : Advanced skills utilizing SQL, Python, or R; CRM (such as Salesforce.com or Microsoft Dynamics)  experience , attribution & propensity modeling experience, proficiency with statistical analysis tools & techniques to include experimental design

 

SKILLS:

 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights

 

The approximate pay range for this position is $110,000- $125,000 base. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
