Job Summary
We are currently looking for an Intern - Data Engineer who will be supporting the WSM Business Process & Data Management Team. The role focuses on developing and maintaining data pipelines, troubleshooting issues, performing basic data analysis, and collaborating with teams. It also involves creating and managing technical documentation for knowledge transfer.
Position: Intern - Data Engineer
Location: Menara 1 Sentral - Kuala Lumpur
Report to: Data Architecture and Integration Manager
What You'll Responsible For:
Assisting in design, develop, and maintenance of data integration pipelines from various sources
Monitor, maintain and troubleshoot data pipeline issues and performances
Involved in various projects on perform basic analysis and validation on data outputs
Collaborating with internal team as well as cross-functional teams to understand related requirements and contribute to task insights/initiatives
Provide related documentation in all the work assign to ensure knowledge transfer and maintain a comprehensive repository of technical documentation
What Experience and Skills Required:
Mandatory requirements
Diploma/Degree in Informational Technology, Computer Science and other relevant IT.
Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, SQL and Visual Basic.
Basic knowledge in database structure
Able to communicate well and work effectively in teams and cross-functionally
Additional preference
Any software certifications or trainings attended
