Amadeus seeks a visionary Data Architect to join our growing Hospitality Enterprise Architecture team. You'll play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing a robust data architecture within the Azure cloud platform, seamlessly integrating with our shared services operations. You'll bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring optimized data management and streamlined processes across the organization. 

About the role

What You'll Do: 

• Design and implement a scalable and secure data architecture on Microsoft Azure, aligned with shared services goals. 

• Translate business requirements into technically sound and cost-effective Azure data solutions. 

• Select and configure appropriate Azure services like Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Azure SQL Database. 

• Define and implement data models, ensuring data integrity and consistency. 

• Develop and automate data pipelines for efficient data ingestion, transformation, and movement. 

• Implement data governance and security best practices in accordance with compliance regulations. 

• Collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including business leaders, data analysts, and IT teams. 

• Monitor and optimize data performance to ensure responsiveness and efficiency. 

• Stay current with the latest advancements in data management and Azure technologies. 

About the ideal candidate

What We're Looking For: 

• 7+ years of experience as a Data Architect or similar role. 

• In-depth knowledge of data architecture principles and best practices. 

• Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure or equivalent, particularly data-related services. 

• Experience with data modeling tools and methodologies. 

• Proven ability to design and implement data pipelines and automations. 

• Solid understanding of data governance and security principles. 

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

• Full working proficiency in English (required)

Education: 

• Degree in computer science and/or 7+ years of relevant work experience. 

• Azure architect-level certifications are an asset. 

Bonus Points: 

• Experience with data warehousing solutions like Azure Synapse Analytics. 

• Experience with cloud-based data integration tools.
