Job Title

ERP Data Architect

The Data Architect is responsible for the design, creation, deployment, and management of the CoorsTek ERP EDW data architecture. This role also has responsibility for the design and development of integrations, and building an integrated data warehouse leveraging CoorsTek’ s Technology stack. The ERP Data Architect will partner with other members of the BI team, IT team, as well as business partners throughout the organization, to define solutions that further enhance our usage of ERP data assets.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Ability to study and understand ERP source systems, specifically SAP, to derive appropriate data architecture models.
  • Work with Business and IT Leaders to architect and enhance the CoorsTek enterprise data warehouse leveraging cloud technologies.
  • Practice with all aspects of the software development life cycle for BI solutions including design, development, testing, deployment, and support aligning with the BI team’s Agile framework and the broader IT ITSM strategy.
  • Create testing methodologies, standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Create models for forecasting, risk modeling and scoring, process optimization models and decision support.
  • Perform data profiling, automated testing, and apply analytical techniques to identify and understand anomalies.
  • Experience in the field of data science including advanced analytical techniques, artificial intelligence, and statistical analytics.
  • Leverage data science tools and techniques in analyzing large data sets, such as manufacturing IOT data, that will enable development of custom models and algorithms to uncover insights, trends, and patterns in the data, which will help identify the appropriate course of action.
  • Create and maintain a consistent technical architecture along with standards, policies, procedures, measures and organizational enhancements.
  • Ability to develop reporting solutions within tabular models and Power Bi in line with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Work together with business owners, IT project managers, and other analysts to plan and execute projects, ensuring appropriate product and technical specifications, and delivering effectively with realistic estimates for timelines to meet deadlines.
  • Research new technology and develop business cases on software products and services in support of procurement, implementation, and development efforts.
  • Provide service support and training to customers related to enhancements and new products.
  • Participate in the prioritization of enhancements and requests to meet the business goals and effective technology usage.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and collaboration skills and engage effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and leaders.
  • Apply predictive modeling in forecasting, risk modeling and scoring, process optimization models and decision support.
  • Work closely with the business to identify needs, determine value drivers for the business, and translate business needs to system and user requirements.

Job Requirements:

Education:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, information systems or equivalent experience.
  • Master’s degree in related field preferred.

Experience:

  • 10+ years’ experience in Data Architecture.
  • 7+ years’ experience in visualizing data.
  • 5+ years' experience in SAP S4/Hana data engineering.
  • 2+ years’ experience in Cloud technologies like Databricks.

Functional/Technical Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • SAP S4/Hana Data Extraction and Modeling.
  • Data modeling and classification.
  • Spark Language variants.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proven ability to interact well with individuals from all disciplines and levels (translating technical concepts to non-technical audiences).
  • Understand business process and flows related to ERP systems and data movements.
  • Possess a drive to continuously learn, question, and apply critical thinking skills.

Target Hiring Range

Annual Salary: USD 109,461.00 - USD 150,509.00
