The Impact You’ll Make

The AI Governance Program Manager will be a key member of the DS hub team leading and driving the change management around Use of AI across Lam. This role will be critical to drive AI change management, lead in operationalizing the corporate AI strategy by partnering with HR, Legal, Ethics and IP teams and support developing an AI ready workforce.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and drive the change management around the use of AI across the organization.
  • Operationalize the corporate AI strategy by partnering with HR, Legal, Ethics, IP and other key stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement AI governance frameworks and policies.
  • Develop mechanisms to ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards in AI implementation.
  • Integrate security framework and compliance in AI solutions.
  • Support and drive the development of an AI-ready workforce.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance and impact of enterprise AI initiatives.
  • Develop strategies to educate and train employees on AI concepts, responsible AI guidelines, best practices, and ethical considerations.
  • Foster a culture of responsible and ethical AI use within the organization.
  • Define, lead & oversee successful planning, execution and delivery of data science foundational roadmap

Who We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Analytics or a related field
  • Overall 15+ years of experience with a minimum of 7 years’ experience in AI/Analytics/Data
  • At least 3 years’ experience in leading and implementing AI Governance in a global company.
  • Hands-on experience and/or deep interest in AI capabilities, including the emerging field of GenAI.
  • Experience in strategic program management and driving effective organizational change management around AI.
  • Ability to think strategically and drive and scale programs that advance impact to the organization.
  • A proven track record of being able to engage and influence stakeholders, both within and outside Lam
  • Ability to navigate under ambiguity in a matrix organization.
  • Effective team player with ability to promote cooperation and solve problems in a timely, creative, and professional manner.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.

Salary

 

Salary Range for this position: $156,000.00 - $335,000.00.

 

The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside in California and most states. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
