Within ArcelorMittal Europe Long Products, take a key role in the Progress Management Team. 

Progress Management Team role and responsibilities are to ensure that the organization is delivering its full business potential across different functions (Operations, Commercial, Purchasing, SSG&A and others) on a fully data driven manner. 

The main activities of Progress Management Team are ideation of key strategic projects, reporting and monitoring of ongoing key strategic projects, post completion project value creation assessment. 

We are looking for an experienced Data Analytics expert to join our team. This role provides a unique opportunity to be part of a team that oversees and supports key initiatives and projects across various functions within the organization. 

 

Key responsibilities and activities: 

  • Your will play a key role in this strategic and innovative team and will be active in the following areas: 
  • Perform data analysis for diagnostics and identify new potential initiatives. 
  • Develop and maintain a global performance monitoring & measurement solution. 
  • Statistical analysis (causality, correlation, etc…) and modelling. 
  • Reporting and Data visualization. 
  • Development of Generative AI capabilities for the organization. 
  • Continuous collaboration and interactions with business stakeholders and tech teams across the operational units and commercial teams at all seniority level. 
  • In your role, you will also interact with our IT department and our R&D department, plus you will energetically support the transformation towards a fully data driven organization. 

Qualifications: 

  • Master’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science or related. 
  • 3+ years of experience in data analytics field. 
  • Strong knowledge base in Statistics. 
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI. 
  • Strong technical skills in Python, SQL/NoSQL. 
  • Experience working with Linux, Git. Docker and Kubernetes experiences considered as a plus. 
  • Good notions of data governance and knowledge of data management tools. 
  • Experience in any of the following area: business strategy, financial analysis, supply chain is an asset. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills enabling effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders at all seniority level. 
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets with creativity. 
  • Ability to articulate complex concepts into clear, concise, persuasive, and easily understandable explanations. 
  • Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams or working groups. 
  • Strong leadership abilities to guide working group members. 
  • Demonstrates flexibility in a fast-paced, dynamic work setting. 
  • Fluency in English is required, knowledge of additional European languages is a plus.
