Power BI Solution Architect

Do you want to help us grow our Data Modernization offerings?We are looking for a professional and engaging Power BI Solution Architect for our Data & Dynamics to be based out of our Toronto, Vancouver, Denver, Edmonton, Calgary, or Texas branch to design, architect and implement solutions within the Long View Business Applications and Data Modernization portfolio! Utilizing your deep and expert knowledge in Azure and Data Analytics, you understand client requirements through strong business and technical consulting skills and are proficient in creating and implementing proven solutions that solve business challenges. 

A Day in the Life:

• Support Long View’s Business Applications and Data Modernization portfolio by working with customers and internal stakeholders to define customer solutions, and deliver engagements that are innovative and exceed business requirements
• Design and architect scalable, secure, and efficient Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages and Power BI.
• Lead the implementation of Power Platform solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing client’s systems and applications.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of developers, analysts, and architects.
• Provide pre-sales technical assistance, demonstrations, and product education as required
• Follow best practices for DataOps including contributing to the creation and grooming of a program backlog of features and tasks
• Develop estimates, Statements of Work (SOWs) and proposals which outline professional services required to meet client requirements
• Assist with hosting presentations and/or education sessions such as Lunch & Learns
• Align with clients to build long term relationships that further business value for both the client and Long View
• ·Stay abreast of architectural and industry changes, especially in the areas of Cloud and Data Analytics

What You Bring:

• 3+ years of Microsoft Power Platform implementation experience with experience in Microsoft 365
• 5+ years of consulting experience
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Dataverse and Power Platform
• Proven experience in designing and implementing solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Power BI, and Dataverse.
• Experience with Dynamics 365 API, Data Gateway and 3rd party tools such as XRM Toolbox
• Experience with Power Platform Pipeline and CI/CD automation
•  Proficiency in related technologies such as Azure, SharePoint, Dynamics 365 CE, and SQL Server.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, database design, and SQL.
• Experience with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, JavaScript, and TypeScript

• Microsoft Power Platform certifications a plus
• Microsoft SharePoint and BI experience a plus
• Proficiency in M365, Copilot and Copilot Studio
• Achieving Microsoft technical community award such as MVP, RD is an additional asset
