About the Role

As the Supply Chain Data and Performance Manager at Babcock, you will play a crucial role in analysing and enhancing our supply chain operations, ensuring optimal performance across Australia and beyond. This position offers the flexibility to be based anywhere in Australia, thanks to Babcock’s agile work culture.
 

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for supply chain reporting on a global scale, developing and implementing strategic initiatives that maximise value while minimising delivery risks. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and lead efforts to establish a comprehensive performance management framework that aligns with our corporate objectives.
 

Your expertise in data analytics will be essential as you analyse performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership. By fostering strong relationships with suppliers and implementing best practices, you will drive process efficiencies that contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional service to our customers.
 

In addition, you will create automated reporting tools that provide real-time data and insights, enhancing transparency and visibility across our supply chain.

To be successful, you will bring:
 

  • Australian Citizen with a Defence security clearance (or the ability to obtain).
  • Experience in a Data or Business Analytics role.
  • Experience in leading and managing agile teams to deliver against strategic objectives.
  • Tertiary qualification in Data Analytics, Procurement, Supply Chain, Business or in a related discipline.
  • Demonstrable skills in Data Management and Communication of recommended action plans to senior stakeholders.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Commonwealth Procurement processes and policies and practical application of the Commonwealth Procurement Guidelines would be advantageous.
