WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US

In SimCorp, we help some of the biggest financial institutions in the world be successful by simplifying their accounting, operations, and investments. While our engineers build the software required for that, we need managers who can make sure our colleagues thrive, we deliver to our clients, and we work effectively. 

You will be working with a team of about 7 people located in Noida, India and Copenhagen, Denmark. The team functions as a center of excellence for artificial intelligence (AI), providing knowledge and guidelines to other teams, as well as working hands on implementing and operating solutions with AI.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

• Lead and mentor a team of 7 AI engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Provide guidance and support for career development, performance management, and skill enhancement.
• Bring a deep understanding of AI technologies and methodologies to guide the team in designing and implementing industry leading solutions.
• Collaborating with other teams in your own and other product areas.

WHAT WE VALUE

We expect your skills and experience to include

• Proven experience (likely 10+ years) in software development.
• Proven experience (likely 5+ years) in managing engineering teams, with AI-related projects being an advantage.
• Proven track record of successfully managing engineering teams distributed across different geographical locations.
• B.E/B.Tech or above in computer science or similar
• Actively participate in code reviews and technical discussions to contribute to project success.
• Acting proactively and taking ownership.
• Strong background in AI, machine learning, and deep learning technologies. Excellent programming skills in languages such as Python or C#, experience in Azure Machine Learning platform, or similar.
• Solid understanding of software development methodologies, agile practices, and project management.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
