This position is responsible for identifying and implementing enhanced analytics to effectively drive MFT’s analytics strategy within the supply chain. The person in this role will be accountable for effectively leveraging analytical tools, processes, and methodologies in order to improve data availability, standardized reporting, and empower data-driven decision-making for defined stakeholders. The Supply Chain Data Analyst is an integral part of the Supply Chain Team and will report to the SIOP Manager.

This role is subject to our hybrid work model: we collaborate in the office on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. The rest of the week, you have flexibility to work wherever it suits you best.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards for stakeholders in visual dashboards (Power BI)

  • Drive execution and analytics initiative by leading and supporting regular reviews with teams on performance metrics for the supply base including but not limited to Forecast Accuracy, Average Weighted Lead Time, On-Time to Request (OTTR), On-Time to Promise (OTTP), Inventory Days of Supply/Turns/Dollars, and Revenue Forecasting.

  • Data storytelling and presenting complex data to leadership in a simple and brief manner

  • Utilize Power BI and semantic models to create reports and data visualization.

  • Modify and enhance existing dashboards and reports to support Supply Chain business activities.

  • Work with stakeholders to identify opportunities and core key performance indicators to drive supply chain strategies and guide strategic decisions utilizing analytics solutions.

  • Ensure best practices and optimize the usability of data/reporting

  • Build strategies to leverage data to drive efficiency, savings, opportunities, and access gaps.

  • Develop best practices for Supply Chain business activities, set standards for processes, and support. them through relevant documentation, communication, and training.

  • Continually assess alternative analytics-based proposals/models that deliver value and make recommendations to leadership

  • Support continuous improvement ideation, solving supply chain challenges through data analysis, innovation, and process optimization, developing enhancements and refining metrics as analytics processes mature

  • Accountable for system capability awareness, and ensuring any new systems deliver the analytics and reporting needs of procurement and testing outputs of such systems

  • Analyze and drive value from data through various analytics approaches of descriptive, predictive and prescriptive analytics using visualization, predictive modelling and OR techniques.

  • Understanding of manufacturing/operations concepts will be desired

Skills/Experience We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree required in field that emphasizes data analysis and visualization or related field (Data Analytics, IT, Scripting Programming, Data Science, Computer Science)

  • 3+ years in supply chain, with functional knowledge of supply chain processes and their interdependencies, best practices, policies, and tools

  • 5+ years of experience using SQL with a good understanding of database systems and complex queries

  • 3+ years of experience with programming languages such Python and Scala

  • Strong skills in accessing and using analytical tools such as Power BI, Real-Time Analytics or other BI tools

  • 3+ years of experience working in Manufacturing and Operations environments.

  • Experience with Infor LN ERP and LN ION workflows a plus

  • Share Point workflows a plus
