Job Description

Are you ready to take your data analysis skills to the next level? We are seeking a Data Governance Analyst to join our Operations Global Data Office Team. This role is pivotal in delivering our Operations Data vision, which supports the successful delivery of the 2025 strategy. If you have experience in data quality management and data governance, and a proven track record working in a complex global data environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Accountabilities

The Data Governance Analyst is responsible for the effective implementation of a range of data governance activities to protect the company data assets, so that they can be used with confidence to increase value, while legal, ethical and security aspects are safeguarded.  The role specializes in several of the following specialist areas: data governance strategy & operations, data standards management, data quality management, data policy, compliance & risk management.

The role will either work individually, managing projects within the manufacturing area, or chip in to the effective operation of the whole team through collaboration and engagement with peers and leading key projects and initiatives.  The job holder applies data, business, regulatory and soft skills to lead governance and policy implementation in the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, data or technology field or equivalent number of years of experience.

• 3 -5 years minimum demonstrated experience and subject matter expertise within the data disciplines and domains. Knowledge of standards, data management and IT management regulations, policies.

• Knowledge and experience with regulated and/or legal environment and requirements (e.g., GxP, data privacy and security)

• Experience in data ownership or stewardship

• Experience of SAP, SAP MDG, manufacturing systems and/or planning systems

• Experience of Data Governance tools such as MDG, RDM and MDM

• Demonstrate communication skills.

• Proven change management, interpersonal, assertiveness and negotiation skills

• Strong consulting skills

• Fluency in English

Desirable

• Experience in life sciences and healthcare.

• Experience of Data Cataloguing tooling such as Collibra

• Data Governance and Data Management education and certifications

• Experience of Business/IT partnering for the implementation of Data Governance-related solutions.

• Applied data management and data science skills, including experience with related tools.

• Proven track record of publishing relevant data governance and policy topics in peer-   reviewed journals, conferences, and other scientific proceedings.

• Experience of inputting into strategy.

• Robust working experience in international and intercultural settings

Expectation of working in the office 3 days a week statement
