Role: GBS Material Master Data (MDM) Analyst

Location: Pune

What will you be doing?

  • Your will contribute and focus primarily on Manage and prioritize the GBS MDM Service Now / EFLOW / Syndigo requests, working within agreed SLA’s. Provide complete and professional responses to customer in a timely manner.
  • Work with designated ERP system internal customers on understanding daily production/ Logistics problems, updating master data changes, co-ordinate and complete master data uploads.
  • Strong collaboration and co-ordinate and resolve processing/reporting and field conflict issues within the MDM team.
  • Implement item master data transactions covering create, amend, extend materials, Source lists, purchase info records and manufacturing elements.
  • Build training materials and documentation and implement training using the appropriate tools, where appropriate. Participate in data harmonization activities, and MDM process-improvement workshops.
  • Maintain the MDM Standard Operating Procedures and Data Dictionary. Identify gaps in policies and call out issues to DQO (Data Quality Organization) as vital for resolution.
  • Defining and documenting global MDM processes. Implement material master data quality standard methodologies. Implement standards/guidance for master data auditing/validating and cleansing.
  • Provide appropriate training and education to local Data steward of the BAU countries. To ensure suitable audit trails / change control is in place to ensure data integrity and control.
  • Participates in Annual Product review process in MDM activities. Participates as Domain Guide in Master Data projects.
  • Winshuttle scripts runner/developer. Validated understanding of Master Data management tools/apps: IDQ; Embarcadero; Winshuttle, EFLOW, Appian, Service Now, Syndigo, Alation, etc.

What will you need to be successful?

  • Education: Bachelor's or equivalent experience or Master’s degree or equivalent experience in a data management role.
  • Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience data management and/or governance.
  • Experience in Material master data(Raw Mat, semi-finish, finished goods, etc).
  • Experience in SAP/MS Dynamics Axapta system including mass upload.
  • A good understanding of data management principles and standard process. Have a working knowledge of core data / analysis tools particularly Informatica, Winshuttle, MS Excel, Business Objects, SAP SQVI, Power BI, etc.
  • Good interpersonal skills – ability to build good relationships with remote teams and senior leadership. Recognized as a domain expert for data management and data quality for the region. Advanced Excel skills, strong data analysis skills.
  • Ability to work across multiple source system including various SAP versions, Axapta, Eflow, Matrix, Movex, etc.
  • Superb communication, collaboration, and relationship building and collaborator engagement skills.
