Sr. AI Data Engineer with Top Secret (hybrid/DC metro Area)

Key areas of focus include data engineering, anomaly detection, and data quality management.

We're seeking an adaptable, curious, and goal-oriented professional who thrives in collaborative environments. You’ll work alongside researchers, data scientists, and engineers specializing in information retrieval, UI development, machine learning, AI, and statistics.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with a team of data scientists and engineers to design and implement scalable data processing pipelines for AI.
Develop data access controls and transformation pipelines to ensure data quality and security.
Analyze data to detect anomalies and improve data integrity.
Work on the design, development, and evaluation of machine learning models.
Communicate technical findings and solutions to internal and external stakeholders.
Participate in Agile development processes with AI/ML research teams.
Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field with 12+ years of experience, or Master's with 10+ years, or PhD with 6+ years.
Strong programming skills in Python.
Experience with data repositories, ETL, and data analysis tools like SQL, R, or Python.
Proficient in machine learning algorithms, tools (e.g., scikit-learn, NumPy, Pandas), and platforms.
Experience with statistical modeling, data analysis, and transformers/foundation models.
Self-motivated with strong intellectual curiosity and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Plotly, Streamlit, matplotlib).
Familiarity with MLOps tools (e.g., Kubeflow, MLflow, DVC).
Experience building Generative AI and LLM applications.
Eagerness to learn new platforms and tools for data analytics.
Ability and willingness to obtain a Top Secret security clearance.
