Senior/Regular Python Developer

For an international commercial bank, we are looking for regulars and seniors developers for the position of Python Developer.

SENIOR POSITION:
 
As a Senior Python Developer you will be responsible for developing data-driven solutions for complex situations and problems in the abovementioned context. We expect you to be interested in processes and events behind the used data. End-to-end performance, self-motivation, and the willingness for completion of your tasks round up your profile.

In cross-functional teams in an agile environment and using appropriate technological tools, you will generate useful insights and recommendations for our processes and operational units. Your tasks also will include anticipating possible consequences beyond problem solving and proactively questioning the status quo and the methodology used.

What you will be doing: 

• E2E responsibility of the development process from ideation to handover to production with hand-in-hand cooperation with the operation colleagues
  
• You will contribute to creating strategies and support solution designs 
  
• You will be working closely with the stakeholders
  
• 3rd-level support: Solving of incidents, bugfixing and supporting the operation engineers
  
• You will participate in Scrum ceremonies (Daily, Planning, Review, Retro)
  

REGULAR POSITION:

In your role as a Python Developer, you will be responsible for the new and further development of the cluster's products. You'll use the latest Big Data and Cloud technologies to process large amounts of data on our Data Lake and deliver services on premise or in the cloud. In cross-functional teams and using appropriate technology tools, you will generate useful IT products for the entire company. You will develop new models with business experts and work hand-in-hand with data scientists to integrate their products and results into the system landscape. The co-design of this system landscape, as well as rapid prototyping, testing and evaluating new technologies will be a part of your tasks. You will have an eye on the overall picture, realize synergy effects beyond problem solving and create added value for the entire cluster beyond the team.

What you will be doing:

• Working in a cross-functional cell (close collaboration with Frankfurt am Main, Germany)
  
• E2E responsibility of the development process from ideation to handover to production with hand-in-hand cooperation with the operations colleagues
  
• 3th-level support: Solving of incidents, bug-fixing and supporting the operation engineers
  

Requirements

SENIOR POSITION

• Good programming experience in Python
  
• Analytical and conceptual skills (develop prototypes and contribute to architectural design discussions and technical decisions)
  
• Interfaces good knowledge (design, build and maintain APIs. Gathering requirements and documenting solutions)
  
• Experience in implementing data processes in the enterprise environment
  
• Basics of relational databases (preferred MS SQL)
  
• Basic knowledge of other programming languages such as Java, C, C++
  
• Understanding of Agile mindset
  
• English - B2 level
  

This project combines work in various areas like e.g. Data Analysis, Big Data, Software Engineering, Machine Learning so any experience in one of the mentioned fields would be an asset!


REGULAR POSITION

• Extensive experience in Python

• Practical experience or willingness to learn about Google Cloud Platform
  
• Experience with relational and non-relational database solutions
  
• English - B2 level
